Founded in Late 2004 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by four young, eager innovative artists, conversation starters, thought-provokers and storytellers, phoSumpro! has found its place in the entertainment industry through hard work bourne out of sheer passion.
We love what we do and it shows in our work.
We have remained boutique with handpicked collaborators. We still thoroughly enjoy every step of the creative process and approach our work with the same dedication and personal touch since the company started.

Co-founder of the company, Mai spearheads content creation, develops creatives and directs all projects; seeing things through from inception to post production.
Mai has created formats and executed localized versions, written scripts and copy, directed multi camera live shows, dramas, sitcoms and reality. She has a degree in Biology and was in the midst of her post graduate studies in Medicine when she shifted gears and studied filmmaking at New York Film Academy where she handled 16mm cameras and spliced actual film. She also graduated from Electronic Design and Interactive Media before it was cool. She can be seen trolling around filmmaking forums at any given time of the day.
Co-founder of the company, Yin co-creates content and in execution, juggles between line producing and production management. She is involved in all productions, at every level of the workflow from development to delivery.
Yin’s love for film-making began when she held her very first camcorder at the age of eleven. She saw life through the lens, documented the world around her and shot a few spec commercials. Joining the industry was inevitable despite having pursued a degree in Computer Studies. She entered the business in a marketing position, packaging shows and soliciting sponsorship, eventually redirecting into production, learning from the ground up as production crew then technical crew operating cameras and eventually managing productions. She is a gear head and enjoys collecting vintage lenses.
